Longstanding sponsorship and support from clothing brand Loro Piana

Daudy's work in textiles led to sponsorship from Loro Piana on several occasions, for exhibitions, a publication and an ongoing relationship of Daudy wearing Loro Piana clothes.

On this occasion in 2021 for the launch of Daudy's publication "I Knew You Would Come Back to Me" the brand opened their Bond Street boutique for an installation and event to celebrate.

The limited edition publication in its specially made Loro Piana envelope was sold out at the boutique. A few copies were made available at John Sandoe books near the Saatchi and at YSP where Daudy has work on show.

It is a great thing for an artist to have the patronage of any brand, and Daudy's work has received the generous support in a long standing relationship with London department store Selfridges, Loro Piana, the Swiss watch company Rolex, Louis Vuitton who gave her an award naming her as one of the 200 visionaries who define our age.

Daudy used the materials sent to her by Loro Piana to make ephemeral art works such as the scholar's rock you can see below, and another work at the YSP featured elsewhere on the website looking at negative space and weight.
