Together the academic and artist discuss Daudy’s extensive research into ancient Egypt for her response to The Golden Treasure of Tutankhamun, a blockbuster travelling show of Tutankhamun’s tomb artefacts. Curated by Saatchi Director Philippa Adams the show had queues around the block. Daudy was helped with her research by Professor Richard Parkinson of Oxford University, The British Museum and other UK academic institutions. Schutz explores the 18 month period of research undertaken by Daudy and how this learning informed her work on the exhibition.
