The postcards were distributed by Makani an organisation whose vision is a world of freedom, equality and dignity for all refugee women and girls. They work with women seeking sanctuary to overcome trauma, fight for their rights, and to transform their lives and the world around them. They run economic empowerment, education, and therapeutic arts projects that give refugee women a platform to demand their rights. Daudy has been working with them for some years since her first work using their crochet “Am I My Brother’s Keeper?”. The postcard, inscribed with a message down the centre of the verso, can be used and sent, distributing the ideas of the project.
