Major London Locations participate in Daudy's citywide art intervention: The Seeds of Hope London 2024
2024
Superbloom
A citywide project across London. The artist left an impermanent art work cut out of felt, each depicting a different seed. Using seeds as an analogy for the possible growth and flourishing of an individual under any circumstance, the project was welcomed by public gardens, public institutions such as the Garden Museum, King’s Cross station, UCL, SOAS and Kew Gardens.
Each of the flowers represented a flower from one of the video interviews collected by the UNHCR from refugees living in the UK. The publication of the mapping project was funded by Lyndsey Ingram and Daudy’s time and work was voluntary. The maps were distributed across London and including by the institutions involved and London Underground.
