Wonderchaos: a book by Kate Daudy and Kostya Novoselov

WONDERCHAOS presents truths and beliefs held by entire societies that rest upon chaos, such as the Big Bang theory and ancient creation myths. By combining their specialisms, Daudy and Novoselov offer a collection of multi-sensory works that address chaos and its ubiquity in all aspects of life and nature including chaos in relation to art, science, philosophy, harmony, environmental change, language and time. Columbia University’s Institute for Ideas and Imagination gave Daudy and Novoselov a book launch in Paris, March 2025 accompanied by a public talk.

Daudy and Novoselov illustrate in this book the scientific and spiritual truth that underpinning all the chaos and randomness of the universe is harmony and order. This oneness they perceive is something they illustrate through their work inviting viewers to reflect on who they might like to be and the choices we each make as individuals
